MOCO 101 · App User Guide
Control your car lights clearly and confidently.
This guide explains how to give the app permission, connect your MOCO car light device, adjust the light, choose a scene, change power, and manage app settings.
What this app does
MOCO 101 controls a compatible MOCO car light device over Bluetooth. From the app, you can change the light color balance, brightness, scene mode, and power level.
Quick start
1. Allow Bluetooth access on first launch
The first time you open MOCO 101, iPhone may show a permission window asking whether the app can find and connect to Bluetooth devices.
Read the permission message
The message says that Bluetooth is used to scan for and connect to MOCO car light control devices. This permission is needed for the app to find your light.
Tap Allow
Tap the Allow button on the right. Do not tap Don’t Allow if you want to connect and control a MOCO device.
2. Use the main control screen
After the app opens, the main screen shows the current light values and the controls for your connected device. The labels and values update when you change a control.
Use the top slider to set the light warmth. Move toward Yellow for a warmer light. Move toward White for a cooler, whiter light.
Use the brightness slider to make the light dimmer or brighter. The percentage at the right shows the current brightness level.
Choose a weather-style scene, such as sunny, rainy, foggy, or snowy. Tap a round icon to apply it.
Choose a road-style scene, such as city, bridge, highway, or a motorcycle road scene. Tap a round icon to apply it.
Tap 100%, 75%, or 50% to set a preset output level. The lightning button is another power control provided by the device.
Tap the menu icon to connect a device. Tap the gear icon to open the app settings page.
How to change the light
- Drag the top slider left or right to change the yellow/white balance.
- Drag the brightness slider left for a dimmer light or right for a brighter light.
- Tap one weather or road icon if you want a preset scene effect.
- Tap 100%, 75%, or 50% to choose a power preset.
- Look at the values shown on the screen to confirm the new setting.
3. Connect or disconnect a light device
Use the My Device menu to see available MOCO devices and manage the current Bluetooth connection.
Open My Device
From the main screen, tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner. A drawer opens from the side.
Find the device
Look under My devices. The list may show a name such as MOCO-8999. Your device name may be different.
Connect
Tap the chain icon on the same row as the device. Wait a moment for the connection to complete. When connected, the app can send light settings to that device.
Disconnect when needed
Open the same drawer and tap the chain icon again to disconnect. Disconnect before connecting a different device if the app does not switch automatically.
Password management
Tap Password management at the top of the drawer to manage the device password when this feature is required by your hardware. Follow the instructions shown in the app and keep the password in a safe place.
4. Open Settings and About
Tap the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the main screen to open Settings. The settings page includes an About area with app information and support actions.
